Spring into Newbury!

Visit Newbury has announced its Easter Events calendar, designed to entertain the whole family with a series of fun, free experiences over Half Term.

The events, which will take place from 1 April to 16 April, are designed to celebrate the arrival of spring in the town. Hosted by Visit Newbury, the brand behind Newbury Business Improvement District (BID), there will be ‘eggcellent’ activities to suit all ages – and local businesses are getting involved, too.

Easter Farm and Family Fun Day!

On 6 April, the town centre will host a The Easter Petting Farm and Family Fun Day with spring animals and friends, such as bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, lambs, and donkeys. Families can head over to The Market Place where they will have the opportunity to interact with the animals and learn more about them from 10 am till 2pm. No ticket or booking is required. Little ones will also have the chance to meet Encanto’s Mirabelle. She will be available for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.

Great Newbury Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter egg hunt trail, held in partnership with Parkway Shopping, is another exciting event to look forward to this April. Giant Easter eggs will be dotted around the town square, and families can collect stickers or write down the name of the animal they see on each egg. Finding all the eggs will enter families into a prize draw for a range of goodies and a BIG prize to be revealed soon!

Sign up here to join the hunt! 1st -16th April
