Newbury town centre offers a satisfying blend of old and new when it comes to shopping, with traditional shops like hardware store Barry Forkin Toomers (est. 1692) complemented by modern independents and big brand names including Marks & Spencer and Waterstones. Newbury’s bi-weekly charter market offers fresh, locally sourced produce from friendly traders, and the monthly farmers market and regular artisan and vegan markets bring yet more delicious produce and unique products to the town.
