Managed by Newbury Town Council, award-winning Victoria Park is the ‘Jewel in their Crown’ and brings calming and invigorating green space to Newbury town centre.

Sat just beyond Parkway Shopping and alongside the Kennet & Avon Canal, the park has something for everyone, with fabulous community facilities to embrace and enjoy.

Get active one of the three tennis courts, watch your children have a whale of a time in the splash park or play area, tackle the 18-hole wildlife themed adventure golf course, build your strength up with the outdoor gym equipment, or simply enjoy the park’s wonderful floral displays whilst listening to brass and silver bands play on the traditional Bandstand.

The park is also home to a popular skate park and boating pond, perfect for sunny days, a community café – due to open in March 2026 – and Newbury Bowling Club. There’s plenty of space to sit and catch up with friends, kick a ball around, enjoy a lunchbreak during the working day, or practice your sprint runs when the park’s a little quieter (if you’re a runner, give Strava’s ‘Victoria Park Middle’ segment a go!).
