Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurse clinics will be returning to Nationwide Building Society in Newbury in April 2026.
The clinics are free and there is no need or expectation to be a customer of Nationwide Building Society to access them.
The free clincs are for people who are worried about their own memory or that of someone else, for anyhone who has been diagnosed with dementia, and carers of people living with dementia.
Admiral Nurses (specialist dementia nurses provided by Dementia UK) support with all aspects of dementia care such as:
- Support around getting a diagnosis
- Understanding symptoms of dementia including how to respond to behaviour
- Communicating with the person living with dementia
- Planning future care
- Grief, loss and bereavement
- Transitions in care
