Knowing what to do in an emergency could make all the difference.
Better Newbury is inviting the community to learn some potentially life-saving skills at a free CPR workshop on 16th October, as part of the national Restart a Heart campaign.
The hour-long session will give you the chance to practise CPR and learn how to use a defibrillator. It’s ideal for anyone learning these skills for the first time, as well as those looking for a refresher.
Around 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in the UK each year (that’s more than 80 every day), which highlights just how important these skills can be.
