The Newbury Triathlon is one of UK’s most legendary sprint triathlons. The 38th edition will take place on 7th September, hosted by Newbury Velo.
The Triathlon begins at the newly refurbished outdoor swimming pool at Northcroft leisure centre (there is plenty of on-site parking on the field adjacent to the leisure centre) followed by a bike ride through the surrounding countryside and back into Newbury before a run along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Over 400 athletes will be setting off between 8:30am and 10:30am, and it’s free if you want to head along and support!
Spectators are welcome to attend the race. There will be a viewing area by the pool for spectators, please stay on the decked area and follow the guidance of marshals. There will also be plenty of viewing space by the finish line at Northcroft. There will be parking available on Goldwell Park near to the Leisure Centre, from 6:30am – requested £1 donation to Newbury Rotary Club.
