Join The Base for a colourful celebration of arts, crafts and artisan food and drink from local makers and creators.
Kick-starting the two-week festival, a craft fair featuring 50+ stalls will surround The Base building, creating a bustling high street of high-quality crafters and artists for visitors to browse.
Get involved with spray painting workshops (11am – 3pm), dog ‘paw-trait’ sessions (pre-booking recommended), as well as plenty of activities for families supported by the wonderful Berkshire Youth.
Inside the building, browse the Festival of Art exhition, an incredible curated exhibition featuring local 2D artists’ work for sale. Visitors will have the opportunity to have a go at a range of Taster Workshops from avibrant programme of workshops (see link below for full details) and courses, and add to a gigantic Doodle Wall!
It’s free to attend with free parking too, with a suggested donation of £2 on the door which will go directly to The Base charity – supporting all the work they do out in the local community and within their colourful walls!
There will also be a free shuttle bus running between the Festival of Arts & Crafts and Creative Commons at the entrance to Greenham Common.
