Beenham Wind Orchestra marks its 25th Anniversary with a special Wind Band Workshop.
They will be welcoming guest conductor Thomas (Tom) Milford, an award winning conductor, composer and arranger, who led one of finest Bands in the British Army – the Coldstream Guards.
Tom brings a unique blend of warmth, inspiration and authority, encouraging players of all levels to reach their best.
Attendees will rehearse two vibrant works:
• The Ghost Ship by José Alberto Pina – a thrilling, evocative tone poem steeped in legend.
• The Wishing Well by Rossano Galante – a lyrical, cinematic piece brimming with sweeping melodic lines.
This is a wonderful opportunity for wind musicians to come together and celebrate the group’s milestone anniversary. Non-members of Grade 6 standard and above are also welcome. The fee of £20 is payable in advance (including lunch and refreshments).
