Best selling band The Real Thing bring the groove, the moves, and the unmistakable sound of British soul to the Corn Exchange’s stage.

Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established and best-loved black group in UK entertainment history. The Real Thing remain pioneers in soul, funk and dance music.

They are now celebrating over 50 incredible years in the music industry, and they’re still going strong, playing hundreds of gigs across the world with the original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, along with their five piece band.
