Explore the newly dressed historical rooms, our ‘Dressed for Shaw’ costume exhibition, and the newly developed gardens. The English Civil War arms and armoury exhibition ‘Dressed for Battle’ will be open. Younger visitors can enjoy crafts in theActivity Room and playing outside in the playpark, NEW for 2026.

Areas of the House that are not usually accessible will be open including the ‘forbidden corridor’ on the second floor and the basement tunnel. During the day there will be introductory talks available in the Great Hall which will provide the perfect start to your visit.
