Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all free.

As part of the 2026 Heritage Open Days Festival, English Heritage will be offering exclusive free guided tours of Donnington Castle. The tour will included access to the gatehouse which is normally closed to the public.

The tours will last approx 30 minutes and take place on Satuday 12th September at 2:00pm, 2:30 pm ,3:00 pm and 3:30 pm.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited on the tours. £2 parking charge applies to non-members.
