Visit Berkshire launches new social media channels celebrating the Royal County

Here at Visit Newbury, we’re delighted to share the launch of the brand-new Visit Berkshire social media channels, dedicated to celebrating everything that makes the Royal County of Berkshire such a fantastic place to live, work and visit.

From historic landmarks and beautiful countryside to festivals, attractions, food and drink, shopping and family days out, Visit Berkshire will showcase the very best experiences from across the county, helping more people discover everything Berkshire has to offer.

The new @VisitBerkshireUK Facebook and Instagram channels have been created through a partnership between organisations across Berkshire, bringing together local knowledge, visitor information and inspiring content from destinations throughout the county.

For Newbury and West Berkshire, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to introduce our attractions, events, independent businesses and beautiful landscapes to an even wider audience.

You can follow Visit Berkshire on Facebook and Instagram by searching for @VisitBerkshireUK.

If you’re involved in organising events, running an attraction or sharing great stories from around Berkshire, don’t forget to tag @VisitBerkshireUK and use #VisitBerkshire to help the team discover and share your content.

The project has been developed with support from partners across Berkshire, including Visit Newbury, West Berkshire Council, The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, Visit Windsor, Bracknell Forest Council, Wokingham Borough Council, Slough Borough Council, Reading Borough Council and Reading’s Economy & Destination Agency, with guidance from VisitEngland.

We can’t wait to see the new channels grow and help even more people discover the incredible places, events and experiences that can be found right here in Berkshire.
