A free outdoor performance taking place around Newbury town centre, Deblozay will take you on a wild nocturnal journey where performance, music and costume come together to create an otherworldly and joyous procession through the town!

Deblozay (meaning Bedlam in Haitian Creole) is a fantastical parade inspired by Haitian culture and ancestor worship. Join the mysterious characters of the “Gédés”, who open doors in our consciousness, uniting the dead and the living in a celebration of life.

The parade starts by the Boating Lake in Victoria Park, before heading on a journey throughout Newbury town centre.
