City Arts’ flagship community event returns to Newbury Market Place to celebrate its 10th year running!

At this wonderful event, you will be allocated an area per household to create roughly a 1 metre square chalk picture on the ground.

It is free to chalk, but the organisers request a small contribution if you want to enter the 2025 competition (£1 per competition participant).

When you finish your drawing, photograph your artwork and send the pictures over to City Arts for your chance to win from a selection of competition prizes!

The prizes will be City Arts Gift Vouchers for children (up to 6 years) and (7 to 12 years old), teen (13 to 17 years old) and adult (18 +) categories.
