Newbury is home to one of the largest outdoor swimming pools in the country (an impressive 71.8 metres long!). The lido at Northcroft Leisure Centre is popular with early morning swimmers, lunchtime splashers, after-school bathers, and evening drifters throughout the summer months. The leisure centre also has a 25 metre indoor pool and a learner pool, with adult, baby and children’s swimming lessons all available.

BST Fitness in Park Way, next to the glorious Victoria Park, has an indoor swimming pool and sauna open to gym members, with a swim school for children and adults.
