Get ready to kick off your holiday season at the Newbury Christmas Lights Switch On!
Join us for an entire day of festive fun, and don’t forget it’s much more than just a quick ceremony, it’s a full day of live music, entertainment, and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The Newbury Christmas Lights Switch On is a full-day event for all the family!
Kicking off at 10am, our friends at Renartgades bring a special all-day Artisan Christmas Market to Northbrook Street, with over 60 stalls featuring local creators and sellers offering unique, handmade gifts and treats.
Local musicians will be performing throughout the town centre in three different performance areas, with the line ups very kindly organised by the team at Good Vibes Music Academy.
And while you shop, don’t forget to take a Christmas photo with Newbury’s very own Paddington statue!
Other highlights include a Festive Funfair on Bartholomew Street, Santa’s Grotto in Kennet Shopping Centre, a Nativity Petting Zoo with donkeys and a manger in Inch’s Yard, and an Indoor Craft Fair at Newbury Corn Exchange.
And don’t forget, many of Newbury’s fantastic businesses will be embracing the spirit of the day with special offers and more, all while Mr. Grinch causes mischief around town!
