Newbury’s popular Artisan Market is set to return on Sunday, April 27, 2025, with a larger footprint across the town and a whole variety of new and favourite makers, bakers, artists and artisans from the surrounding area.

Newbury Business Improvement District (BID) and market organisers, Renartgades, have been working together to enhance the market experience for traders, visitors and local businesses, and the two groups are delighted to announce that the market will be back on the calendar from April.

Renartgades first took over the Newbury Artisan Market the summer of 2024, working with Newbury BID towards revitalising the Artisan Market experience for shoppers; connecting local businesses with local people, and driving more footfall into Newbury town centre.

With firsthand experience as small business owners and market traders themselves, Chloe and Libby (the Renartgades team) who are both born and bred in Newbury, have seen huge success in growing the Artisan Market into a much-loved event in the local calendar. The fantastic range and quality of traders from the surrounding area is proving extremely popular with visitors each month, and they have further plans for the upcoming markets to make it bigger and better than before.
