18 November, Newbury Town Centre

This one-day festival kicks off Christmas in Newbury! The day starts with an all-day Christmas Market along Northbrook Street, a funfair on Bartholomew Street, magical street performers and more. Why not visit Santa in his Grotto and meet and greet Princesses Anna, Elsa and their whimsical friend Olaf! The official light switch on ceremony takes place at 6pm, complete with Christmas choirs and musical acts.

18 & 25 November, Kennet Shopping Centre

It's time to share your Christmas wishes with Santa! Write a letter and hand deliver it to Santa at his grotto! Give your letter to Santa and he will give you some free sweets at this FREE event, brought to you on behalf of the Lion’s Club.

19 November, Market Place

The Vegan Market is back for the final time this year, showcasing a range of independent brands and businesses with a festive a festive twist. Soak in the seasonal atmosphere while browsing handmade homewares, ethical clothing, cruelty-free cosmetics and, of course, delicious plant-based food and drink. Everyone is welcome, whether you're vegan, vegetarian or just curious!

24 November – 31 December

There’ll be magic, mayhem and mischief aplenty in Newbury Corn Exchange’s 2023 Pantomime! This fresh take on the much-loved story brings yet another epic adventure to town, brimming with #NewburyPanto fun, including roaringly funny jokes, beastly amounts of magic, and a hit list of songs for all ages.

26 November, Market Place

Newbury Rotary Club invites you to enter into this year's Santa Fun Run! Prizes are on offer for the best dressed Santa, and funds raised help support some of our best local charities! 5km and 1km routes available, with check-in on the day between 9am-10am.

8 December, Kennet Centre

Join Ariel on her mermaid adventures this Christmas in Newbury, this famous princess will be accompanying shoppers in Newbury Town Centre on Friday 8 at 3pm for a spot of family fun and Christmas shopping.

December 9 & 16 - 23

Need to send an urgent letter to Santa? Forgotten to post your Christmas list? Visit him at his Post Office in Parkway for a magical experience.

10 December, Newbury Town Centre

Soak up the atmosphere and watch the hundreds of twinkling lanterns as the procession travels through Newbury town centre in our popular, annual Festival of Light. The procession will travel along Northbrook Street before arriving in the Market Place with live music and a festive atmosphere.

13 December, Camp Hopson

Meet one of TV's favourite chef's (ITV's This Morning), Clodagh McKenna at her book signing in Camp Hopson this Christmas 1pm - 2pm, this is an exclusive signing of her new book: In Minutes.

16 & 17 December, Northbrook Street, Newbury

This special two-day market brings you the very best of local designers, creators, makers and bakers and of course, the freshest festive food and artisanal produce. Discover over 60 artisan stalls, indulge on sizzling street food from a variety of internationally-themed food vendors, and explore the historic town of Newbury.

December 18 - 23

Pop into Parkway for a spot of Christmas Shopping! Late night shopping will be taking place between 9.30am and 7pm, but watch out... there is a chance of snow! For those hoping to visit whilst it is snowing please make sure you check www.shopatparkway.com to avoid disappointment.

21 December, Newbury Town Centre

Mr.Grinch descends on Newbury town centre's shops! Don't let him steal Christmas! Drop in for a spot of late-night shopping to grab those last-minute Christmas gifts and have some fun! Newbury boasts a unique shopping experience that combines some of your favourite high street names with local boutiques, and independents.
