The pace is leisurely and the ground level. \nEach walk lasts approximately 2 hours and starts at the Corn Exchange in the Market Place – aside from the First Battle of Newbury walk which lasts 2 hours 30 minutes and starts at the Bowlers Arms in Wash Common. \nThere will be a maximum of 15 people on each walk. The walks program and leaders are as follows: \n\nTuesday 21st July: A History of Newbury\, Philip Wood\nTuesday 28th July: Northbrook Street People\, Jane Burrell\nTuesday 4th August: Lost Pubs of Newbury (not suitable for children under 12)\, Philip Wood\nTuesday 11th August: Newbury at War\, Jane Burrell\nTuesday 18th August: Northbrook St & Speenhamland\, David Peacock\nTuesday 25th August: Tudor Newbury\, David Peacock\nTuesday 1st September: First Battle of Newbury\, Dave Stubbs\n\nSpaces are limited\, so get in early and book your space via the link below. £10 per adult\, £5 for children under 12.
