SUMMARY: We want to hear from choirs of all kinds – community choirs, gospel choirs, school choirs, you name it – and local entertainment groups who want to be a part of Newbury’s annual Christmas Light Switch-On event to bring joy through singing for thousands of visitors. Whether your choir is made up of 4 or 400 people, we want to hear from you! With live music & entertainment, arts & culture, a Christmas Market, Meet & Greet sessions with classic children’s Christmas characters, Santa’s Grotto, children’s fairground rides and an exciting programme of free family activities throughout the day, this is your opportunity to get involved with one of Newbury’s biggest events- which attracted over 35,000 visitors in 2022!
