Some brilliant stories. \nJoin The Base\, Greenham as art historian and comedian Verity Babbs leads you through some of art history’s funniest bits\, sharing stories from her book The History of Art in One Sentence. Verity will take you on a journey of 500 years of artists behaving badly\, jaw-dropping artworks\, and manifestos that’ll make you say ‘oh my!’. \nTickets include access to the gallery to view the Base’s autumn exhibition\, Small Wonders: Reimagining British Art from 6.30pm\, while Verity Babb’s comedic perspective on the history of art will begin from approx 7pm and last for an hour.
