Hosehill Lake is a local Nature Reserve important for its wildlife and habitats.
It hosts a wide variety of water fowl in the winter and nightingales join the butterflies and dragonflies in the spring.
There is a mile long path around the lake providing bird viewing areas and rustic seating. The lake is attractive in all seasons and the path runs through meadows, past ponds and reed beds and under shady trees.
